I love November! There's a small window of time after Halloween and before Thanksgiving where Autumn is in full glow! The air is crisp and the trees have turned colors as a reminder that time is precious! Hot cider and bonfires on my favorite way to spend time with family and friends during this magical time of year! I love bonfire gatherings because they're simple and all about being together! Whether you roast hotdogs or make Smore's, you can turn whatever outdoor living space you have into a magical setting with a bonfire! Grab a cozy blanket and warm up some cider and call your favorite friends over for a bonfire!
We are officially on the Halloween Countdown and now more than ever Halloween trends as one of the biggest days of the year to celebrate with food, family, friends and fun!
Tricks & Treats- it doesn't have to be fancy or expensive to be clever and serve tricks and treats for Halloween fun! One of my favorite ways to serve up tricks and treats is a popcorn station with a few haunting surprises and fun Halloween twists added to it!
Repurpose & Reuse Halloween Decor- just about every craft superstore is running Halloween sales. Check out Michael's and hobby lobby for online and in-store coupons up to 50% off! What I love about Halloween as you don't always have to shop in the Halloween section for items you can use every day, but make Spooktacular around Halloween! Using trends like burlap, crates, and recycled glass bottles are a great way to repurpose what you have and make it Bootastic for a Halloween gathering/party!
Love love love the trend for pumpkins this Autumn! Grab a stencil or use some painters tape to craft your perfect metallic pumpkin this October! Most hardware superstores sell metallic spray paint and it makes for a fast and easy way to add some pizzazz to your front porch this Autumn!
Tape of mason jar with painters tape and spray on adhesive on the bottom of the jar. Apply glitter... Copper glitter is fun for Autumn! Fill with candy corn and give it to your favorite friend, neighbor or kiddo's teacher! Happy Autumn!
This month is filled with everything good and somehow it magically unlocks all my childhood memories of homemade Halloween costumes, making smore's over a backyard firepit, decorating pumpkins and making delicious autumn treats! So welcome October... Thank you for bringing us Autumn!
One of my favorite treats is making caramel apples! You can use a kit or dip your own... adding halloween sprinkles is a fun twist. Place sprinkles in a bowl and while caramel is still warm (before it hardens) roll apple in the bowl of sprinkles! Happy Autumn!
